One of the newer lingerie items to come into popularity recently is vinyl lingerie. Several manufacturers now offer a full line of specialty vinyl lingerie items to compliment their other lingerie items. These new sexy vinyl clothing items are now showing up in traditional lingerie stores as well as many internet lingerie retailers.

vinyl lingerie and vinyl clothing are sometimes referred to as PVC. vinyl isnt actually a material at all, but rather it is a type of plastic. PVC is literally polyvinyl chloride. This is a thermoplastic that is a polymer of vinyl chloride. Resins of polyvinyl chloride are hard, but with the addition of plasticizers, a flexible, elastic plastic can be made.

This plastic as well as its cousin vinyl has found extensive uses for electrical, construction, automotive, packaging and many other applications. The versatility of vinyl led to the creation of vinyl clothing and specialty vinyl lingerie.

vinyl lingerie can be sticky especially when worn in warm or moist conditions. vinyl garments can be treated with a thin film of talcum power to help fight against sticking. All types of vinyl lingerie are available today. Some popular styles include skirts, bras, panties, corsets, sexy costumes and much more.

It is important to get the right type of fit when wearing vinyl lingerie. vinyl clothing looks its very best when it is tight against your skin almost to the point of stretching.

Taking care of your vinyl outfits should be a top priority. Be sure to follow the instructions for care of the garment as attached. Be careful not to scratch your vinyl lingerie, as it will be permanent.

Take your lingerie experience to the next level. try out the latest styles in sexy vinyl lingerie and show the world that you are on the cutting edge of fashion.

Sonic The Hedgehog - Still Going Strong

In recent years the gaming industry has exploded into mainstream culture and has intertwined itself into the fabric of everyday life. The success of gaming can be traced back to the classic systems of the 90's, the glorious days of nintendo and sega. Yet we all know that the weight of a consoles success always depends on that one defining game. When picturing this perfect synergy of a console and that one game, most people will point to Xbox and halo. Yet everyone who grew up in the 90's knows that this synergy started way back, when sega and sonic the hedgehog meshed together so perfectly.

sonic the hedgehog, known as that speedy blue ball of fury, was first birthed by sega as its "mascot" of sorts. sega eventually saw the potential of the blue hedgehog as a hit game series and released the first installment in 1991. sega rode on the coattails of their prodigy as sonic soared through loops and jumps on TV screens across America and sub sequentially turning sega into a leading video game company. From 1991 to 1994 sega churned out three hit titles starring sonic and a fourth with sonic sharing the spotlight with his pal, Knuckles. sonic barrel rolled out of his 2d home and set foot into a lush 3D environment, in sonic Adventures for dreamcast, and never looked back.

Sonic's creator, Sega, decided to drop out of the hardware market in 2001 and allowed Sonic to step into the consoles of its former competitor, nintendo. After seeing major success on the nintendo platform, Sega decided to also allow Playstation and xbox the privilege of selling the sonic series. In 2006, sonic the hedgehog found his series in the form of a star, a part of the honorable "walk of game". Almost two decades and 7 console generations after its initial debut, sonic the hedgehog is still going strong, with a new hit game on the next-gen console, Xbox 360.

The Lowdown on Selenium Supplements

If a little is good, more must be better, right?

Unfortunately too many people believe this when it comes to taking dietary supplements. Some vitamins and minerals are actually harmful when taken at high dosages.

Take selenium for example. Selenium functions as an antioxidant in the body, working with vitamin E and thyroid hormone. The daily requirement for adults is 55ug per day, however toxicity can develop with intakes over 400ug per day. Toxicity symptoms include loss and brittleness of nails and hair, irritability, fatigue, nervous system disorders and garlic breath odor.

You can also add increasing the likelihood of developing type 2 diabetes to the list if results of a recently published study prove to be accurate. I'll spare you all the details of the study (however if you are interested, click here), but essentially what these researchers found was that long term doses of 200ug per day of selenium raised a person's chances of developing type 2 diabetes.

As in any research, care must be taken at interpreting results. One study alone does not prove the relationship, however it is safe to say these results are interesting and will no doubt spur further research.

So what is the significance of all this for you? You may be thinking this doesn't even apply to you because you don't regularly take selenium supplements. I suggest you take a look at any multivitamins you take routinely, some contain selenium so you actually may be getting more than you think you are.

Do you really need supplemental selenium? In my opinion, no.

Selenium is found in soil, and thus vegetables and other plants grown in most areas of the country provide adequate sources of dietary selenium. Even in areas that have low soil selenium levels, a large variety of foods from other areas of the country are available that provide selenium. Seafood and organ meats are also good sources of selenium. Deficiencies are relatively rare in the US.
